Upon entering our practice you and your children are warmly greeted by a member of our friendly team! Kids can then be let loose into our special kids’ zone, next to the parents waiting area. This dedicated room is decked out with toys, bean bags and plenty of entertainment material to keep your children entertained in the event you arrive early or even while mum or dad has their appointment.
• You will then be introduced to your dentist and Rex, the dental dragon. Rex will always go first to show you a little of what to expect. Your Dentist will examine Rex’s big pearly whites while trying not to get sprayed by water which he shoots out of his mouth sometimes.
• Then it’s your turn! You will get your own dental mask so you can look like a dentist too and you even get to play with the chair and some of the equipment.
• Your dentist will then take a look at your teeth, explaining everything to you and your parents, providing any recommendations and identifying any potential problem areas. You will also be provided with instructions to help develop a strong and effective oral care routine to keep your smile bright and healthy.
When your appointment is finished you will get a special toy from our friendly team to say thanks for coming in to visit us. We also have some cartoons for you to download and colour in to show our practice and get a special toy!

DENTISURE™
At Baldivis Family Dental we are proud to have partnered with DENTAL CARE NETWORK™ to offer DENTISURE™, complimentary dental insurance for school children aged 5-19 years. This service is free for all our eligible patients, providing they maintain their regular six monthly appointments. No Gap Dental Check-Up
At Baldivis Family Dental we understand the importance of regular hygiene appointments however we also understand that dental treatment is often an unwanted expense for the family budget. For this reason, if you children see our hygienists for their regular hygiene check-up there is NO GAP to pay for patients with private health insurance.
